What a great time we’ve had over the years hosting the annual Color Run! It’s been a blast!! But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and for the time being that is the story for the Color Run.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years as volunteers, participants and sponsors. Together, you have made a major impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Plan now to take in the annual Bea Fisher Foundation Color Run, scheduled for Friday, September 9th at Bud Miller Park. This family-friendly 5 km run never fails to add all sorts of colorful excitement to your fall calendar. Plan to start arriving anytime after 5:00 as the run is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm. Not a runner…no problem! You can walk the course at your own pace or sign up to volunteer, but just come! Are you able to become a sponsor of the event? We’d love to partner with you to help bring the Color Run to life. Run kits will include your own t-shirt and personal color package. Pick up dates and location will be announced closer to the run date. And count on snacks and great entertainment at the run. Thanks for joining us at the 2022 Bea Fisher Foundation Color Run. When and Where:

Friday, September 9th at the Bud Miller Park. Participants can start to gather anytime after 5:00 and the run/walk will start at 6:00 PM.

What are we raising funds for?

Funds raised all go towards supporting some of our community’s most vulnerable citizens, those with developmental disabilities, and will be used to purchase equipment and aid in capital projects. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for these areas through this year’s Color Run.

What is the cost?

$50 Adults
$30 Students (11-17)
$20 Children 10 & under

How do I register?

Click on the Register tab below to access our secure online registration and pay with PayPal or Credit Card. Need assistance or wish to pay by cash, debit or cheque? Stop by our office at 3514 51 Avenue, near the Co-op Marketplace.

Do I have to sign a waiver?

Once you click register, you will be asked to electronically sign the waiver.

Race package including a Color Run logo’d t-shirt and 1 color packet
Beverage and snack at the conclusion of your run/walk

Satisfaction of knowing you are making a positive difference for a vulnerable sector in our community.

Registration packages will be handed out from the Bea Fisher Centre at 3514 - 51 Avenue in Lloydminster September 6, 7 and 8 from 4pm - 7pm. Participants will also be contacted by email and notices will be posted on social media once the registration packages are ready for pick up. Be sure to bring your color packet to the run. Just before we start we’ll all get in on a huge color explosion… and then the race begins!

Tips:

You may wish to wear sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes, but do know the color is made of corn starch.
Bring a towel or blanket for your car seats if you drive to the event
If you have recently dyed your hair a light color, be sure to protect it with a hat.
Normal washing and showering generally removes all the color from you and your clothing. But just in case some of the color lingers, you might want to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little colored up.
