Job Description | The Team Lead is responsible for all aspects of their assigned department and reports to the Manager/Coordinator at the division level. The Team Lead is responsible for service delivery to the Individuals assigned to their department and ensures that the care entrusted is in accordance with the mission statement. The Team Lead plays an important role for the provision of safe and quality effective programs in the following major areas: The Team Lead makes supervisory decisions if required due to absence or unavailability of the Manager and/or other levels of management. |
Qualifications | Disabilities Studies or Rehabilitation Practitioner Diploma is preferred. Other education in the Human Services field will be considered Supervisory experience is preferred The following education and experience would be an asset: Valid First Aid/CPR certificate Valid class 5 driver's license and vehicle required Criminal record check required |
Knowledge, Abilities & Skills Required | Personal care responsibilities required. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong administration, organization and communication skills. Confidence/ patience to work around individuals that are non-verbal and learn their ways of communication Follow all necessary programming as written. Able to work with several different behaviors. |
