it allows us to purchase materials for several minor repair and maintenance projects undertaken by Bea Fisher maintenance staff
it raises enough funds to replace the flooring on one level of a 24 hour care home
Bea Fisher could purchase a lift to improve the mobility of individuals within a care home
by pooling funds together, people can be part of something much bigger. Here are some projects and purchases we have taken on in the past or plan to take on when funds become available:
• Kitchen remodel
• Upgrade wheelchair accessible van
• Renovate a portion of a 24 hour care home to suit the needs of our individuals
• Technology upgrades
• Renovate an entire suite
• Install a chair lift
• Replace appliances in a home
• Reshingle a roof
• Pour a concrete driveway
• Build a garage for our wheel chair accessible vans
• Facility improvements to make them more wheelchair accessible
10 people give $20 per month for one year = $2400
10 people give $50 per month for one year = $6000
10 people give $100 per month for one year = $12000
3 people give one time donations of $1000 = $3000
1 person gives a one time donation of $1600 = $1600
Fundraising events are great ways for the Bea Fisher Foundation to bring our community together while giving us a platform to advocate for those we provide support to. We always need volunteers to help put on these events.
