We are very excited for our first annual unsanctioned pickleball tournament this Saturday, October 5 and wanted to share a few crucial details to make the day extra awesome!

What to do upon arrival: Check in at the registration table at the entrance to the north field house. Our team will guide you to your next steps!

Start times:
Advanced Games Check in by 8:30am. Games will start at 9:00am
Intermediate Games Check in by 8:30am. Games will start at 9:00am
Beginner Games Check in by 11:30am. Games will start at 12:30 pm
Please meet at the registration desk by the entrance to the North field house 10 minutes prior to your start time to receive your field house assignment. The field houses will be open shortly after 8:00 am for warm ups.

Lunch & Merchandise Options We will have a by donation lunch in the OTS Room (2^nd level) – homemade chili, buns and pie plus juice or water from approximately 11:00 am to 2:00 pm! We’ll also have fresh from the press Beyond Limits t-shirts available for purchase.
Intermediate and Advanced divisions will enjoy a lunch break AFTER the completion of round robin play Beginner division is welcome to come anytime after 11:00 am for lunch, prior to the start of your round robin play.

Other Tips and Notes Bring snacks and water as there are plenty of games to be played! Also please note that as the formal tournament round robins finish up and the playoff teams are decided, there is an opportunity for teams to stay and play on the open courts if they are not going forward with playoffs. Games will be organized with the teams who stay for the afternoon.

In partnership with the TD Bank, the Bea Fisher Foundation is gearing up to host its first annual pickleball tournament on Saturday, October 5th. This is a fundraiser to help replace one of our 3 specially equipped vans designed to transport individuals with mobility issues. The vans are critical for the inclusive service delivery for Bea Fisher Centre, allowing many adults with disabilities to carry on the routine activities of life.

This unsanctioned tournament will be held at the Servus Sports Centre between 8am to 6pm and is open to a maximum of 72 teams (2 players per team) of all abilities which we will schedule into beginner, recreational and competitive divisions. Food, beverages and other fun fundraiser activities will be onsite. Prizes will also be awarded to competitors in each division. Entry is $80 per team.

As a special feature, we will host a Learn to Play Pickle Ball event on Sunday, September 29 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Servus Sports Centre. This will be a fun introduction to Pickle Ball for those relatively new to the game. Cost is $20 (cash to be paid at arrival) and participants must supply their own equipment. Space is limited to the first 24 registrants. You can register your team below, if you request a spot you must attend!
